This is my first review on an app ever, I just had to get the word out, the best classic hip hop songs while growing up in Houston I couldn't ask for more, Best the app station in Htown period!!!!
Love old school but hate the ads

I love Boom 92 in Houston. The app is a different matter though. It is EXTREMELY AD HEAVY!!! When I opened the app I was confused about the GUI because the ads just started blasting before anything else!! And they just kept going!!! Video. Audio. Everything was just plastered on the screen and it was overwhelming. In a day and age when data isn't cheap I don't want my data used for video ads!! I want to use it for streaming the old school stuff!! I know you have to pay the bills but isn't that what the actual FM the app station is for? I listen to the station in my truck but I'd like to listen to the music when I'm not driving anywhere.
Technically does its job

You will get to listen to the the app station but it is primarily just covered in ads. You get the banner ads at the bottom of the screen that never go away as well as those outrageously annoying pop up ads that will cover the entire screen. The pop up ads come really often too. Even more ads are imbedded in the widgets. Whoever your app developer is should be fired. Some ads are cool but this is just way too many, makes the app nearly unusable, plus it's a big data and memory waster.
