Can't finish bonus

I enjoyed the game until midway through the bonus. After collecting a chisel, the scene of the street did not expand wide enough so I could collect the medallion from in front of the costume shop. Can't finish game. Otherwise it was enjoyable
A challenging game, and without the hints I would be seriously frustrated.
