  • Great BUT...

    By ME_RULE101 (Pcmac user)

Ok, I LOVE this app, so don’t get me wrong, the Kaomoji amount is very wide and well made, and the interface is simple and easy to navigate. It’s just very glitchy. It crashes A LOT and makes me type “q”s over and over again. This is fine, after all I found out the way around it (click home or double click, if you hit anywhere on the screen it types a “q”), but still very annoying. This happens more the more I use the app, so I find myself not using it as much. Another thing is it gets rid of autocorrect (which I use), and it still says on in settings. Overall, I give it 4 stars, wide variety, buggy.
  • Why break switching keyboards?

    By stevendesu (Pcmac user)

When you hit the globe button to switch back to another keyboard, it doesn’t actually switch you back! It switches to a new MODE in the kaomoji keyboard for typing English letters. This fake keyboard has no suggestions as you type, no auto-correct, and no swipe functionality. Also after you send a message it flips back to kaomoji mode. Just remove this fake keyboard! Why is it there? This one feature causes every issue. It’s even very suspicious and concerning. Why does it exist??? Is it a key logger? Is it trying to steal passwords? ʅ(ಠ︿ಠ)ʃ Otherwise this app would be great (๑╹◡╹๑)
  • Good, has some flaws

    By Little Bonsai (Pcmac user)

I just love these silly symbols, much more than emoji even! I think the best compliment I can pay this keyboard is that I'm using it despite some of the irritating issues that have stuck around (yes, even after the update). I still find myself waiting for the keyboard to show up when I switch to it. That can be a little irritating when I pull down to use Spotlight, which also doesn't want to show the normal keyboard first no matter the order they are in. Great keyboard, minor issues linger.
  • Junk

    By Raantuva (Pcmac user)

This app has so much potential, but it fails miserably. Not only does it insist in behaving as the default keyboard for my phone now, forcing me to delete it from the list of active keyboards regularly to regain control of my device, but the characters tend to transpose after inserting a kaomoji making them no longer appear as intended and requiring editing by me. It appears to cause lag to other apps when in use and active. It makes it so that I have no keyboard available in apps which do not recognize this one (for example, Friendly for Facebook). It's such a massive pain that I am likely to delete it following this review update.
