Needs work

Updated- 2nd version of new App, still crashes upon open. Not usable. Updated - Still no auto download, Still unable to download a show in the background. Not asking anyone to reinvent the wheel here, just asking for normal features. Love the show, it gets 5 stars. Hate the app for not providing basic features other podcast apps provide. Still needing work.. Hopefully soon, may not renew my subscription if they can't get an app that works well for people on the go.. Love listening to John B, big fan, but this app needs an overhaul, badly. My wish list: 1. Needs Auto download for new podcasts. 2. Doesn't remember where you stopped all the time and starts over. 3. If you happen to know where you were, getting to that spot is crazy difficult with the design and operation of the controls. 3. Does not play well with wireless headphones, pausing/starting usually fixes. 4. Background playing of audio is flakey. 5. AirPlay to speakers is flakey. 6. Crashes periodically Trying to figure out if there is a way to add the show to one of the paid podcasts apps. Was able to do this with John B's previous radio show, hopefully can get this one on there also.
Problems w New App is Apple’s Fault

We’re all frustrated with CTM’s new app but the problems are Apple’s fault! CTM has had to drop all links to renew subscriptions and their store due to Apple demands. CTM has resubmitted the App 7 times for Apple approval but they keep asking for more and more changes. This is not normal. Any other business is allowed to sell their memberships or products so why not CTM??? Contact Apple and tell them to quit blocking CTM and screwing up their App’s functionality! So far I can access CTM through any web browser without functionality problems. We must stand up for CTM!!!
Getting very fed up

I have been cooling my heels but very disappointed. I like to listen to the audio while multitasking. NOPE. If I listen from the website I can’t turn my ringer off my phone and listen. The website loads so slow it is insane. My listening time is my time and I don’t want incoming calls to do disrupt the podcast. If that happens I have to mess around with no ability to go back in increments to find my place. Long time subscriber, from the inception, I’m feeling very disappointed. I tried to unsubscribe and the enter button didn’t work. Calling your rear end out on the phone tomorrow to end this frustration. Sorry and God Bless. I’m done until you pull it together.
Unacceptable

A great show (which John b produces) deserves a great app, but this new version is a giant step backwards. Others have pointed out some of the problems,so I'll add that there is no capability to skip forward/back a given amount of time (say 30 seconds). Most importantly, there is no capability (which the old app had) to speed up audio playback without changing the pitch. Having a good, flexible app is not optional - many of us must listen on the go, whenever we can, for however long we have. The "What's New" for the the app lists some things that are not true - another indication that the app has not gotten the attention it deserves. Overall, a very poor and unprofessional "update."
