What is Nero Receiver?

The Nero Receiver App allows users to stream videos, photos, and music from their PC to their mobile device within the same WiFi network. It also enables users to stream media files between different mobile devices, even if they are platform independent. The app is compatible with numerous UPnP/DLNA media servers and media player apps.

Software Features and Description

1. Stream videos, photos & music via your PC in your home network and play your media wirelessly on your mobile device with super easy to use Nero Receiver App.

2. E.g. use Nero Streaming Player App on one mobile device as a wireless media controller and via Nero Receiver App let your second mobile device become your wireless media player.

3. Nero Receiver App is also compatible with numerous other UPnP / DLNA media servers and media player apps.

4. Also stream media files between different mobile devices within the same WiFi network – even platform independent.

5. Select a video, photo, a slideshow, or a music playlist in Nero MediaHome.

6. In the upper right corner you'll find a screen symbol as ‘Play To’ device selection window.

7. Select your tablet or smartphone from the list.

9. Your PC and mobile device need to be on the same WiFi.

Install Nero Receiver app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

The search will reveal the Nero Receiver app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Nero Receiver is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Nero Receiver.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Nero Receiver,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Nero Receiver" » then Click "Install".
- Nero Receiver will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Video works but no audio

Actually it depends. In my case, I'm testing the App without the mothership MediaHome being installed on my Windows 8.1 computer by playing MP4 video from my computer to my iPhone 5s. I get video but no audio. Works fine if I rip and send the video to m4v, which is my phone's format. Makes sense since I didn't expect the App to do any conversion any way.

Downloaded thie app after installing the app Platinum 2015 and it will not work o the iPhone. the app 2015 will stream to other sources like TVs This app needs to be fixed to work as advertised.
