If the company would like people to upgrade, they should give a trial period so that we can see if it works before having to pay for it. I don’t have a problem paying, if I already know I’m not wasting my time.

Wow! Typically, one would like to try a product and see if it does what one hopes, wants , it for or to do. This app expects one to wait 1-1.5 hours for a significantly small text file to convert from the app to a text file. But, proposes the would be fool to spend $10 for "faster" (whatever duration that may be...it could only be 30 seconds, but could be 45 minutes...one doesn't know) text file, if it indeed even works. A leap of faith for a $10! Don't know if it works. Had a 30 word, not pages, word, the app to convert and it will take 1-1.5 hours? Wow. Not very effective, even if it could, which I don't know because it has not completed. Still, 30 words takes 1.5 hours!? Huh?
Frustrating

Converts document into a rough format which is ok but nearly worthless unless you are willing to read it right there in the app. So after waiting an hour and a half (for some inexplicable reason other than to irritate and extort you into paying $10) a pop up arises blocking you from transferring the converted file. The pop up gives two options: 1.rate the app, or 2. Contact app support if you don't like the app. No telling yet if transferring the file will be possible now that I've rated this app. This way of extorting a review is so irritating that I can't give them a positive review.
