Fun but gets pointless after a while

I loved this game at first. About 2 months in and the honeymoon is over. You have to keep playing this game daily just to keep what you earned otherwise other players will attack and win until your scores drops to many levels below you. There is no real advantage that any one player has. No matter your level you are almost always equal so no matter how good your base defenses you will get beat and keep getting beat. If you rush to upgrade your hq before the rest of the base and troops you lose even more as the game matches you with the same hq level attackers and defenders. I’m afraid I’ll have to give it up as I don’t always have the time to keep playing and hate losing my progress for not playing and even when I do play it’s like for nothing someone will attack you win and take all your resources. Graphics are cool and the weapons are also kinda realistic in modern warfare so at least 3 stars for that alone. It just lacks a strategy where competitive players can crush others if they put in the time and keep that standing. It’s more of a pay to win to have any type of advantage or you have to play hours and hours to get it so it’s still fun without paying just much slower progress which is fine except you start to lose this progress each day that passes.

Takes a little getting used to, just like any game but all in all it’s a fun base building game. I’ve been playing it for 3 years and have yet to spend a dollar on the game yet and don’t see myself spending on it at all. Still have a lot of fun regardless of not paying to play. I joined an alliance where a lot of the players had spent $3k+ on the game and were stuck where they were do to the high competition and started building other bases, “farms”, building those accounts up so they could continue having fun. It’s not a race to the biggest and baddest because the game matches you at your levels competition. So as you slowly grow you’ll always be fighting against those that are around your size anyways.

This game was the coolest thing I ever played. The graphics are great and it was so fun. I was addicted for 2 years. I also joined many cool teams. However, it became more of a chore than a game. It gets harder and harder so you must constantly fight and farm to level up. But once you level up they introduced new higher levels. But that’s normal. What made me quit was the constant push to buy gold. Every day the gold was for sale and would open before I could play. Then it might even start while I was already pushing a button so it would try to buy gold for me. All this really slows down the game. As you get higher and more things are on the screen the cpu can’t keep up and it will literally freeze or restart in the middle of a game. If you are trying to get in a quick 5 minute play time in, forget it. The final straw was zynga changed the rules so it was harder to get supplies from others. You can’t win wars unless you pay for power ups so some pay and some are just bait. So 5 stars if you have $500 a month to spend. 3 stars for the first few months and spend only a little. 1 Star if you play free.

You’re new rules regarding alliance wars have cost u maybe a few loyal players but expect a lot more. Basically by making players who change alliances n fight wars to get 6 flags to get max loot means that only players able to take out largest bases either have to be perfect or risk getting almost nothing. Only players able to do are the richest n buy gold. The other 90% will eventually move on to another game. U have made the ones who put in the most time n keeping alliances together to make a choice of to give up or spend ridiculous money to keep up. U will see what most are starting to choose. Also, u say its to get other alliances members more involved.. its doing opposite. Those guys now can only attack until all jumpers have chance at 6 flags so most r not even showing up. Also, i have 2 identical level accts n 1 gets 30-50% higher rares than other n the nuclear fission ones are 1/5th less likely to get. Sorry guys but ur going to lose a lot more $ n players because of these awful changes. U will soon see.
