It's Literally Just Mowing for Pc

It’s a fun game and very relaxing. Great to pass the time with and it’s oddly satisfying. There are ads but they aren’t too overbearing like some free games and there’s an option to remove them for a small fee if you wish. The graphics are very good and the grass almost looks like real grass on an iPhone 11 Pro Max. It does get very repetitive after a few days because it’s always the same set of yards / playgrounds / fields over and over. I would suggest adding more layouts, bigger yards, and maybe change the amount of yards you mow on a street to get chests. Like every now and then you have to mow 10 yards on a street to get a chest but the chest be of higher quality. Another idea I thought of would be that your mower slowly wears down when you bump into stuff and needs to be repaired, so some cheats could contain parts to repair it with.

I honestly like this game a lot, and have been playing it almost non-stop since installing it. It’s a great time-waster and there is a therapeutic aspect to it. There’s something about cutting the grass that is very soothing and satisfying. There are ads but they are non-intrusive and don’t distract from the game at all. Ads are spaced out perfectly, allowing you to play the game without feeling like you’re just watching ads the whole time. Also, the ads are all skippable after just a few seconds, which I appreciate. My only suggestion is to add a bit more diversity to the yards and parks in the game. It becomes very repetitive, very quickly. The yards and parks from street to street are identical in layout and the only thing that changes are the colors of the grass and the patterns beneath the mowed grass. I am becoming bored with the game after two days because there is no variety. Leveling up your mower requires opening boxes, which takes a very long time, so there aren’t enough changes and improvements to my mower to mitigate the boredom from mowing the same lawns over and over and over. The game is fun though and is definitely worth installing. Great graphics and simple controls make it fun for adults as well as kids. Thanks for the great game!

Just Mowing is not so much a game as it is a means of slowing down practicing mindfulness. Similar to actually mowing the grass, this “game” allows users to disconnect from the world for a few moments. The steady speed of the lawnmower, relaxing buzzing of the blade, and lack of conflict or drama presents the player with an opportunity to retreat from the hustle and bustle of life in a calming way. As someone who struggles with PTSD and anxiety related to that, this has provided me with a platform to pause from reality. Honestly, I don’t care about the chests or prizes. My favorite part of the gameplay is the “levels” that are just open grass fields with no obstacles to mow around. There is so much satisfaction and peace that comes with clearing out the weeds and leaving a clean slate. Highly recommend for anyone with mental health disorders or who just need a break from life.

Look. I get it. I get that’s it’s relaxing and all. But I can’t help but sit and wonder what my guys all about? What’s his motivations? WHY is he doing this? For the love of the mow? I just suppose I expected a more gripping story. Maybe one where my little mower guy lost his sister to some weeds? Maybe in a really bizarre twist you meet the vine that took your sister from you and she been enslaved and imprisoned for all these years? Maybe the IMG is just a lawn mowing illuminati and secretly and slowly you find that the grass was good the whole time but you were led to believe it was infesting these random peoples houses and volunteered to work for free but now you’re just helping the IMGs evil plot???? What if.... But alas. It’s literally. Just. Mowing...and it’s great.
