To fully enjoy the app, here are four cool features to look out for:

#1. Home screen card:

The Fox Weather App has a Home Screen which you should pay attention to at all times.  The home screen features a large card which shows the current weather conditions. This particular feature is a bit similar to the weather feature on the iOS app although there are marked differences. 

The card on the home screen is not as animated as the feature on the Apple weather app. This weather card contains the current temperature, present weather situation, the location, and other tabulations for hourly forecasts. 

The good thing is that the weather projections on the app stretch to a period of 14 days. When you click on the card, a full screen pops up, showing you an in depth chart. This chart has a detailed presentation of the data on the weather and other conditions.It also has an interface that helps to visualize the data.

The home screen also contains links to news stories and journalistic pieces that can load directly from the Fox website.

#2. Watch tab:

The Watch Tab gives you a rundown of content to watch. This is displayed on the live feed, which is the home to trending videos on recent news events and topics. You can also find educational videos on this Tab as well. This feature also provides a link to the live feed which helps people gain access to information in real-time.

#3. Read tab:

This feature gives you access to the top, trending headlines under different news categories selected and curated for the app. 

Categories like Lifestyle, Earth & Space, Learn and Weather News are the main categories these headlines will be subsumed under. In the final analysis, why stop at checking the weather? You could be abreast of new development as you keep up with the weather. 

#4. Plan feature:

The "Plan" feature is another important feature on the Fox 13 Weather app. This allows you to make plans based on the data from the past which can help you have a solid idea of the future. 

When you check out the iOS variant of the app, you will find that the date picker which helps sort out dates runs well into the year 3000! Well, don't get too excited , because when you go that far into the future, the app returns you to 2022. Bummer, right? This just means that plans and weather permutations cannot exceed next year.

#5. Track feature:

The Track Feature allows users to access weather projections in terms of geographical location. With this feature, people can access current weather situations using the 2D or 3D radar. 

There have been a few complaints concerning its effectiveness, however people use it. The maps, graphics and the typography aren't exactly special, but they work just fine.
