What is M32-Mix?

M32-Mix is a remote control and offline editing software that allows comprehensive control over all mixing and routing functions of your MIDAS M32 consoles from your iPad. The app provides unlimited flexibility and ease of use, allowing you to control the M32 from anywhere in the room. With M32-Mix, you can control input levels, configure LCD scribble strips, fine-tune equalization, and manage scene and control functions.

Software Features and Description

1. M32-MIX remote control and offline editing software provides comprehensive control over all mixing and routing functions of your MIDAS M32 consoles right from the convenience of your iPad®.

2. From on-stage monitoring sound checks, preamp and channel processing control, to editing the console's onboard effects racks, the M32-MIX app allows the operator to control the M32 with unlimited flexibility and ease of use.

3. M32-MIX unleashes an abundance of remote functionality for the MIDAS M32 series of digital mixing consoles.

4. M32-MIX gives you the freedom to move about the venue, in order to achieve the maximum performance of your system.

5. Just connect the iPad to your wireless network and assign a static IP address to all consoles wired to that network.

Download and install the M32-Mix app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using M32-Mix on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "M32-Mix"
The search will reveal the M32-Mix app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once M32-Mix is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including M32-Mix.
Now enjoy M32-Mix on PC.

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing M32-Mix:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.

✔ Pros:

- The app has a recent GUI upgrade and looks really nice.

- The app has a soundboard feature that is top-notch.

- The app provides input delay readings in ms.

☹ Cons:

- Navigation is not the quickest, and there's a lot of menu clicking and scrolling to do simple things.

- In order to mute a channel, you have to exit back to the home view, even though the fader for the channel is shown on the left.

- Cannot pan within mix busses, which is a big omission and time waste.

- The app is totally different from the m32 edit, making it a bit confusing if you have to go back and forth.

- The app lacks a talkback button that is always on top, which is a significant drawback.

Can we get the input delay reading in feet and meters also? Instead of only ms? Thanks team, Top soundboard app by far
Panning in mix busses please

Cannot pan within mix busses. Meaning you need to use another program to pan instruments left/right if you use stereo IEM’s. A really big omission and time waste. Also this app is totally different from the m32 edit. It makes it a bit confusing if you have to go back and forth.

The same as the X32 app, but with a recent GUI upgrade. It looks really nice. One of my biggest qualms is the navigation is not the quickest. There's a lot of menu clicking and scrolling to do simple things. In order to alter a channel, you have to enter the "details" menu, but if you want to mute said channel, you have to exit back to "home" view, even though the fader for the channel is shown on the left. There's a lot of little key missed details like that. I'd love to be able to use this as a replacement for the console surface for those poor FOH location gigs... But the usability for running this in an actual console style just doesn't cut it. PreSonus and Yamaha did a way better job of that. Gave it four stars because you can indeed control everything wirelessly, which is nice. Minus a few settings, which should really be done at the console anyway...

This app desperately needs a talkback button that is always on top.. I would like to suggest the Midas logo in the top left corner double as a talkback A button.
