Not enough hints

I keep getting the same two hints over and over and they don't help. No help from the website either

Here comes Cool Buddy! Excellent! Best game you've come up with by a mile! Can't wait for more chapters! Far better than I expected. You have fun games but you've really out done yourselves w/ this puppy!
Fun but glitchy

This game is like The Room-wannabe, although it's more difficult to navigate. It also has me stuck on the snake puzzle, which I have aligned properly a dozen times based on others' experiences and which I have aligned in every other possible combination. It may need a fix for the new iOS and iPhone 6S.

But I can't get past the snake puzzle. Plus, the two hints they give are not very helpful. Well at least for me, unless I'm missing something.
