Muy sencilla, no tiene mayor integración con la plataforma y el diseño de interface deja que desear
Ya es hora de un rebrand o refrescamiento en su identidad y en el diseño de sus productos.

Poor Implimentation, Bad UX
By kevin-eimpact-marketing (Pcmac user)
It is something like 5x harder to find a tax and timer in the app compared to the online interface. Also, you can't add notes while the timer is running, that resets the time when you hit save. Yet, the online interface is constantly buggy and consistantly "eats" timers (they just disappear and randomly reappear later). I love the idea of a native app, just not the current reality. Revamp your UX and I'll be glad to change this review. Don't do anything and we'll be looking to take our company to a different provider.

Not worth it
By AnotherAnotherGuy (Pcmac user)
My company uses the app to manage projects, However, I've found that it's easier for me to track time to a personal installation of Harvest and manually enter my time the next day rather than use the app's native timer app. Here's what Harvest gets right (the app devs, please take note):
• Timer can live attached the menu bar vs as an always-open window. I can see my time count in the top bar, I don't need the window, too.
• Optional global shortcut key to open and close the app from anywhere. This alone makes Harvest worlds nicer to use than this app.
• The ability to add notes without it stopping the
timer (seriously, the app? Why?)
• The timer name can (and should) be the Project. Then have sub tasks as an optional under that, plus notes.
• Harvest notes if I've been idle and asks me if I want to save or ignore time, whereas the app's option to auto-pause is not as flexible. Sometimes computer idleness means I'm not working on the project, sometimes it doesn't (i.e. talking to a colleague in the hall about the task). An auto-stop doesn't cut it.
• The Harvest app is attractive and nice to look at, and has. dark mode to boot. Some people may not agree or care, but aesthetics are important to me.
Personally, I'd need almost all of the above features in place to consider switching. But I would LOVE to switch, because manually putting in my time the next day is kind of a chore. So much better to just track time in the timer and have it autolog it to the the app project.
Maybe one day.

they fixed the crashing issue
By drgonz86 (Pcmac user)
I used this app a couple years ago until updating my mac, then the app would crash when opening it. Apart from fixing this bug with the latest version (1.3.1), I don’t see any other updates.
If you are considering other timers - try Toggl. Their desktop app is unbeatable, but using the app's app will save me 20 minutes at the end of the week manually logging my entries from toggl to the app.
