Pre Medical Mastery for Pc

I'm disappointed with the app. I usually don't buy apps, but since I had a gift card I decided to spend it on some MCAT apps. The free app comes with 20-30 free questions to showcase the app. I liked the style of questions and the explanations to the answers, so I decided to buy the app. After doing close to a hundred questions I noticed that while the majority of the answers to the questions were right, there were many that were wrong. From those 100 that I did, I would say a good 8-10 of the questions had the wrong answers. If you're going to charge any amount of money for an app you should make sure the material you're charging for is perfect (even more so for a $10 app), especially for an app that states it provides "MCAT mastery". While I did like most of the features of the app, it's not reliable nor efficient for the user to have to confirm answers through another source before moving onto the next question. If you're planning on buying the app, make sure you know the material very well, because if you don't, you're going end up learning the wrong information.

I love this app for so many reasons! 1) These questions have the MCAT flavor! Challenging questions that make you think critically 2) This app not only has great questions (MCAT style) but thorough explanations for each answer choice, i.e. justifying a correct and incorrect answer 3) It's not just a flashcard app. This is really unique in the App Store right now and is really important to me because I can study good materials for the MCAT on the go, wherever I am! 4) I love the other sections on interview tips and the handy MCAT/GPA averages for each medical school in the US... This is really helpful, and so unique in the App Store! 5) Double money-back guarantee--I didn't need it but if you don't like your score you can get more than a refund... I think this is a no-brainer! I got a 36 and this app really helped me out... Thanks for making this app... I am recommending it to all my the app-med friends!!! ☺️

This app is well worth the download and the money. It is thorough, well built, and extremely well supported. It contains a vast amount of great features that makes it an unmatched accessory for studying on your smartphone or tablet. It's important that you don't download this thinking it's all you need for studying, but as a means for practice, it is the perfect tool. It has plenty of material and plenty of ways to present it and organize it. Finally, the costumer service and support can truly not be better that with this app. I was on the phone in minutes with a real, genuine person. He walked me through all my questions and we even had a few laughs. Honestly, just stop reading this and download it; you probably have a lot of studying to do!

This overall is a decent app and it would really be helpful to a person as a review on the go. However I gave this all three stars because it has many flaws that should be changed or corrected which are listed below. -Overall app flaws: 1. The app occasionally glitches and does not show the question. 2. The app sometimes has two correct answers and will even say both are correct. 3. The app sometimes only has one choice containing all the answers. 4. The app had a my progress bar which states the correct % in regards to the total # of questions instead of # of questions attempted. So if you answer only 100 questions out of 500 and if you get all 100 correct, it will show 20% correct. Perhaps the greatest flaw of this app resides in the addition of useless materials. Although it does not hinder MCAT studies, it is frustrating. The problem is that this app features many many many questions on plant anatomy, physiology and mechanisms although they are not tested on the MCAT. Biology which is stated as my strongest subject in "my progress" has about a big red bar consisting almost entirely "don't know" solely because of these plant questions. It gives a false sense of alarm. Please remove them. Overall this is a decent app with great potential with updates.
