To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use CAPPEC,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "CAPPEC" » then Click "Install".
- CAPPEC will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:

- The CAPPEC device and app are solid performers.

- The app works well when the thermometer is turned on within a few feet of the iPhone.

- The range is good and works up to the same distance as any Bluetooth speakers.

☹ Cons:

- The app needs fresh batteries in the thermometer to work.

- The app works via Bluetooth and not WiFi.

- The estimated time to completion always says <1 minute after an upgrade.

- The app needs an auto shut off feature to save battery life.

- The new version of the app is unresponsive and difficult to figure out.

After an upgrade the estimated time to completion always says <1 minute. Also needs a way to auto shut off. Goes through batteries so quickly if you don’t manually power it down after each use.

My App would not work. Found, by accident, that if you turn on the thermometer within a few feet of your IPhone, the app works. Make sure you have fresh batteries in your thermometer and you should be good to go.

I own the this app as well as idevices and Weber remote thermometers. The this app device and app are very solid performers. The batteries MUST be good. This works via Bluetooth and IS NOT WIFI. The range is not bad for me. Works to the same distance as any Bluetooth speakers work for me. Thumbs Up!!
What happened!

I've been using this app for a couple years. Suddenly there's a new version that I can't even open I don't know what's going on I can't seem to figure out how to get the thing to work. It's totally unresponsive
