Install SunLocation app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using SunLocation on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "SunLocation"
The search will reveal the SunLocation app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once SunLocation is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including SunLocation.
Now enjoy SunLocation on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native SunLocation Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use SunLocation,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "SunLocation" » then Click "Install".
- SunLocation will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Simple Tool

I was reading about what time of day is the safest, most effective sun exposure to acquire much needed Vitamin D... And discovered I had to go to a website by the Astonomical Applications Department to find the altitude of the sun and was told that anything over 50 degrees meant optimum UVB exposure. While the website is great for letting me know WHEN on any given day this will be... this app is great for letting me know where it is NOW.
Inaccurate location

This app is terrible. I bought it to be able to tell my son where the moon is... it's made me a liar every time. Waste of money. I want my son's trust back... or at least my $0.99.
Great app but doesn't even point north???

I love the app, very minimalistic, but it doesn't even point north more EEN than anything. Plz fix as I use it to find the sunrise for timelapses.
