1. You also have the ability to connect your grill to your home network in WiFi Mode and to our cloud based system in server mode.

2. The first ever internet connected BBQ is here! We have officially launched Server Mode for the WiFi enabled line of Green Mountain Grills.

3. Connect your Davy Crockett, Daniel Boone and/or Jim Bowie pellet grill to our servers to control/monitor your grill from a cellular network.

4. You can create grill profiles, monitor meat temps, set timers and alarms, and adjust grill temps from inside your home or anywhere.

5. Bring your Green Mountain Grill into the 21st century with our grill management app.

6. This app utilizes WiFi technology and has a range of up to 40 meters in point to point mode.

7. Your firmware must be at least 6.0+ in order to use server mode.

8. Please contact app support if you have any connection or configuration issues with your local WiFi.

9. We have recently added calibration tools to calibrate both air temperature and probe temperatures.

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Green Mountain Grills on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Green Mountain Grills"
The search will reveal the Green Mountain Grills app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Green Mountain Grills is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Green Mountain Grills.
Now enjoy Green Mountain Grills on PC.

Good in theory

I keep getting kicked off server mode. Then I have to leave server, connect to wifi, connect to grill, then join server again. Works on and off. Did everything support said. Still disconnects. Brand new wifi board and Grill is 6 feet from wifi btw. App also seems unfinished. Cant turn it on from work so it's hot when I get home to immediately start grilling. Cant toggle between point to point mode and wifi mode. Can't see what newest firmware is without updating and downloading to grill. Takes a while. Should alert that I already have the latest version first. Profiles could be good and are definitely the best part of the wifi feature. ***Update*** I have been using this for a while now and, when home, works fine. None of the support suggestions work. Still disconnected on server mode when gone from home. WORSE YET, it does not background refresh. Only when I actually OPEN the app does it tell me that I have "reached target temp". This could take forever, really forever, if I don't actually open the app. Please fix. All permissions open for this app. It's a bug.
New Grills, Dated App

If that feels like it came from an old version of iOS. It lacks a lot of features you would expect in a modern day app. You should be able to search the recipes instead of having to visit each page. You should be allowed to swipe to go back. There should be a history of the meat temperatures when cooking. The app refreshes every time you open it which creates lag and it fails to deliver reliable information if the app is not open. You should be able to add multiple timers and stopwatches and give them names for different meats or other items that you’re grilling. You should be able to put the grill into Wi-Fi mode when it is on. The timer in a profile should be adjustable in case you forget to start it and want to run the profile for the remaining grill time. There are probably some other features that this app needs but that would be a good start.
Upgraded the Grill to WiFi

My controller card on my Davy Crockett went bad, the replacement has the WiFi. I did not buy mine with it 3 years ago as the WiFi was just coming out and I thought I'd never use it. P-to-p worked right off but had issues with the home network. I work from home and my network is extremely locked down. I log a lot of attacks at the modem level and the firewall/router level. My problem was I forgot I used upper and lowercase character in my wireless network names. The GMG app needed it to match exactly and I wasn't putting it in correctly. Have not gotten the server mode to work yet, I need to punch a hole in the firewall to let it go out. Not sure what port they use but will do it if I really need it. Works great camping, beach, parks on the p-to-p.
Please fix temperature alerts in server mode

Overall I’ve been satisfied with the app and the ability to control the grill from my phone. This is a great feature and my reason for purchasing. With that said, in server mode when the set temperature is met, you keep getting alerts after you acknowledge and dismiss the alert. It’s quite annoying to keep dismissing the alerts. Other than that, I haven’t had any trouble with the grill and connecting to it via the app. After this fix, 5 stars all day long!
