Got stuck

Was on a very high level around 200. Had loads of coins. Came to a road block and tried to unlock. Got first lock unlocked and game froze for days. Wiped game off and reset game. All my coins remained but was sent back to level one. How does something like that happen. Now trying to catch up again. At least I still have my coins. Still love to play
