  • Checking Out the Functionality

Seems promising. You have to either pay or provide a rating to access certain features. If it is really as good as it seems, I will be pleased. Update: it really is pretty good. Not sure why the camera and monitor devices couldn't detect each other for almost 20 minutes after initial setup. Works fine now. A feature I would love to see is the ability to schedule monitoring during certain hours.
  • Trying to do too much while not polished

App does too much of what you don't want and there is no inituative way of turning what you don't want off. Many behaviors that don't make sense. For instance, the remote camera view defaults to face time camera. This doesn't make sense. Remote camera app does not give you a view finder view when on - how are you supposed to aim? Guardian app face time you by default. Why? Is my face being uploaded to some server somewhere? This is definitely not an app you want if you simply want a camera app you can remote view from another device. I give it two stars because I'm sure some other people might find it useful despite the flaws.
