Year Walk is the best game I have ever played.

Some reviews on this page have complaints of it being too short but if you play the game ENTIRELY and correctly, it is very time consuming and enjoyable. The cost is definetly worth the experience. The overall art, setting, and quality of the game is excellent. this app has a weird but positively unique set up which can be hard to control at first but it’s easy to get used to. The the best part of this app is the plot. The game has tons of Back story to explain what is happening in the story without any dialogue. Playing the ENTIRE game has an amazing plot twist and I definitely recommend playing untill the FINAL credits roll. Just buy it. It’s worth it.
Spooky but short!

I’m not big into scary movies because they seem to haunt me for days after but this game is different. The game play is easy and quick to catch on to and the soundtrack/sound effects really add a great layer to the storyline. I love that the creator seemed to really get in to the myth and lore and did all the appropriate research! I jumped a few times but it was anough to keep me coming back. Only downside is I finished it in about 2 and a half hours of playtime.

I seldom write reviews on paid games, mostly because they disappoint me, and I just want them to be better. But this app is an incredibly intriguing game. It’s such a beautiful, dark entangle; its story is so mysterious and its graphics are exceptional. Any other environment would have made me extremely sick with the controls being what they are...but there’s a strange magic that happens with this game. I recommend it to anyone who’s a wee bit disturbed in the mind, this will be a dark & twisty treat.

A truly amazing game in all ways. The artwork, story, and music all came together to create a haunting atmosphere and magnificent experience. The game was clearly very well researched and could even be described as a virtual ethnography. The developers are not lying when they say it “blurs the line between reality and the supernatural.” Four peices of advice: read the entire encyclopedia before beginning, try not to rely too heavily on the hints, play with headphones in a dark room, and don’t be duped by the false ending.
