Great app with a few glitches

Overall, this app is fantastic! Do yourself a favor and be prepared. Take your temperature if possible, take a picture if you have a rash, etc., have all of your meds ready, and know the address of your pharmacy. My biggest complaint is physician follow-up. My insurance wouldn't pay for a mega pricey face cream, and my pharmacist was unable to get a response from the doctor about a new med. However, if you need something simple like an antibiotic, this is a great way to see a doctor in the comfort of your own home. The app has it's moments, it couldn't find my location to find my pharmacy, and it's currently telling me that I'm missing an appointment, but I'll take that over dragging myself to the doctor any day of the week!

Paid Twice

I made an online appointment. I filled out information about name, age, symptoms (what I thought I had) It took only 15 minutes to connect with doctor. Doctor polite but when I told him the same exact thing I wrote in my request for FaceTime appointment, he told me he could not treat me because of my age. He said I needed to go to urgent care face to face. I was charged for this conversation and charged for face to face visit. Why would anyone want to pay for 2 doctor appointments when you don’t have too? From reading my reason for visit, they could have simply said we can’t treat help you please make an appointment with your doctor but instead they took the appointment, talked with me for 2 minutes only to tell me to go see a doctor in person and charged me.
I suggest you cut out the middle man so you don’t waste your money and just go to urgent care if you need to.

KEEPING THE SICKNESS CONTAINED

One thing I always loath when sick is needing to drag to the dr office... already feeling bad it's honestly the last thing one wants to do when sick .... not to mention spreading the illness to others and potentially picking up more bugs... added for those with kids arranging child care or taking them with is just an additional stress. BUT SOMETIMES ESPECIALLY WHEN SICK YOU NEED TO SEE A DR BEFORE YOU'LL GET BETTER....
THIS OPTION, THIS SERVICE IS TRULY A GOD SEND! I FEEL LIKE MY NEEDS WERE MEET BEYOND WHAT DRAGGING SICK TO THE DR OFFICE WOULD PROVIDE. I didn't have to leave my comfort zone or stress over child care. I GIVE THIS SERVICE A BIG 5 Stars! THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY LIFE EASIER!

So great in flu season

I would not typically do this in place of a drs appointment to make sure I didn’t take medications unnecessarily. But it is flu season, hospitals in town are quarantined for flu, and I have young children and an autoimmune spouse. So it was a better risk to maybe take an unnecessary antibiotic rather than risk getting and bringing home the flu. Dr was super friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. Very satisfied with this option
