What is Yandex.Transport? The app is a transportation app that helps users find the best commute option to their favorite locations. It offers optimal routes from wherever the user is, and allows them to track public transport in real-time. The app also helps users keep tabs on traffic jams and find their stop on the map.
1. The application has maps, stops, and transport tracking for Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, and Rostov-on-Don, as well as other big Russian cities.
2. Yandex.Transport is also available in Astana and a number of cities in Belarus: Baranovichi, Slutsk, Lida, Babruysk, Pinsk, Grodno, Vitebsk, Mogilev, and Minsk.
3. A detailed map of the city helps you navigate your way around and find the nearest bus stop, or the closest metro or MCC station.
4. If you never use one of the suggested modes of transport, you can disable it in settings and get directions only for the remaining travel modes.
5. You can hide anything you don't need on the map to track only the transport you use and quickly find your bus stop.
6. Get directions for different modes of transportation, including public transit, taxi, or walking.
