Install EXIFPurge app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using EXIFPurge on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "EXIFPurge"
The search will reveal the EXIFPurge app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once EXIFPurge is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including EXIFPurge.
Now enjoy EXIFPurge on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use EXIFPurge,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "EXIFPurge" » then Click "Install".
- EXIFPurge will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

I had some photos I needed to upload from my Mac to my iPhone. Realized the EXIF data is what kept sorting them as chronological order instead of how I had it in the folder. I did a batch rename on the folder and then purged it with this app, and now when I sync photos from my mac to my iphone they are in the order that I want them! Thanks!!

Was in a rush and I needed to strip info on a jpeg. Downloaded this, dragged image to box, designated export location and then re-opened file in Photoshop. Got info on the file and it was completely erased. Only used it on one pic so far, but worked like a charm!

Not sure why this didn’t work for everyone.. it worked perfect for me. Just purged exif data for 20 images and all opened just fine.
