1. •around 100 learning activities within the 4 pillars of practice under 18 categories which can be undertaken as part of the practitioners practice - so examples of the learning activities include : from using technology to support patient care; ensuring effective nutritional support; demonstrating accountable practice for protection of the public; promoting health and self management in people with long term condition.
2. The Effective Practitioner Mobile Application is for Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals in NHS Scotland to support work based learning.
3. The app complements a web based resource: and focuses on learning across the four pillars of practice : Clinical Practice; Evidence, Research and Development; Facilitation of Learning; and Leadership.
4. This is to support them to meet the NHS Scotland quality ambitions of person centred, safe and effective care.
