Christmas Countdown 2024! for Pc

This is a beautiful app, it truly is, but I do wish it had the option to purchase a version without ads. The first time I opened the app, I was greeted with beautiful music and the screen informing me...19 Days Until the app. I then tapped the presents to see the daily quote. I had just enough time to read the quote and the words really start sinking in...Charles Dickens inspiring me to be a better person, not just at the app, but all throughout it the year. I am truly “feeling” the emotions of the meaning behind the Dickens quote when suddenly a full screen ad pops up wanting me to shop for gifts at Nordstrom’s. Ugh, what a sudden and very unwelcome interruption. I get, I totally get that these smaller apps need the advertisements for support, but must it be a complete and total interruption like this? Now the big hot pink box at the top of the screen wanting me to buy a Samsung TV totally ruins the beautiful graphics, takes away from the music and distracts me from the quote. I don’t even want to open the app anymore. I would pay even $5 for no ads in an app like this. If ads don’t bother you, it is a beautiful, wonderful app. But at this point, I have seen more than enough ads in my emails and in my online shopping thus far, not only do I NOT want to see another one, but I am actually put off by the store and items that pop up. There is a time and a place for advertising - this is certainly not it.

So if you're a the app junkie, this app is for you. And of course you're a the app junkie - or else you wouldn't be here. It's a fun the app countdown app that works as stated. Two suggestions for improvement however: 1. The app needs more quotes. I'm about 125 days into this app and the quotes are repeating. (This should tell you that there’s quite a few quotes alone, but there could/should be more) Some quotes are really great, while others are phoned in and using Xmas song lyrics. All in all, it's a cute feature. 2. This is more for fun than anything else. As another perk for paying customers, have a song randomizer that plays when opening the app. “I Saw Three Ships (Come Sailing In)” is great, but if there were some variety, it'd give it that extra panache. OR - having a randomizer ONLY for the 25 days leading up to Xmas might be cool??

I do enjoy the app a ton, but there is some not so great stuff about it. I downloaded this app last year and I loved it. I loved just opening an app and seeing how much longer until the app, mostly because I don't want to do the math. Although I do delete the app after the app is over. Like a lot of the reviews, the ads are sometimes too much. I enjoy the quotes but the ads interrupting them, I don't. Some of the quotes are repeated which is a little weird because I could easily search up "the app quotes" and find a ton. So does it take so long to add them into a app? Over all I would give it a 3 out of 5 because it is not perfect and it is not horrible.

I love this app, there are no problems with it. I just think you should add more to the premium version than just the D.I.Y. quote which, is not worth 0.99 alone. The fact that this app shows you beautiful the app quotes everyday is amazing. You can even look back at the quotes you have received in your countdown history! Did I mention I absolutely LOVE the app!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edit: I forgot to say, one more improvement is to say how many hours, minutes, and seconds are left until the app day. Not to say how many hours, minutes, and seconds to tell you how long it takes for the day to end. Yes, that is very helpful, but there are other apps for that.
