Worked where my others failed.

Let’s start by saying it got the job done, and done well. That being said, it’s not the most intuitive app I’ve owned, so a little more instruction would have been nice. As for the maker charging $2.99 for a good app that does what it says it would - get over it. How much is a cup of coffee at Starbucks? And you’re complaining about an app for $3? Granted, there was no indication by the author or by the App Store that there were “in-app purchases.” I didn’t see anyone complain that Apple dropped the ball on that one. I gave it 4 stars not because of the cost, but because it just isn’t intuitive by my book. But no complaints, it worlked really well for me.

Before this one I used to use the the app, but I always failed to get correct title of files titled with language out of English. Everytime I extract file titled with Chinese or Japanese charactors, there would be a long serie of “-“ to instead the real charactor. It’s horrible to find files — I cannot recognize them only by the number of “-“. But this App works extremely perfect! Nomatter what kind the files in—zip. or rar. or what language the files titled—I tried Chinese, Japanses, Korean and certainly English, the files are always with correct title. And what makes this App more nice is that only free version is enough for daily work! And also I would love to buy the pro version if I really need it.

Catalina didn't seem to be able to unzip a large series of photo files I had downloaded from Onedrive. I tried another app, and it gave errors about header information being corrupt. However, when I tried these files on my PC, they unzipped no problem. I decided to give this one a go on my Macbook Pro, and was impressed that it not only worked, but was also pretty fast at unzipping a 20GB file.

It was the only one of my unarchivers that was able to open my file. My only minor complaint is that it wouldn’t download to the location that I wanted, but did download to the download site on Mac. I usually download to one of my external drives. Thanks for helping me get the job done. After trying it again, I must revoke my 4 star rating. When I closed the open partial file (part 1 out of 6), it disappeared and I could re-download. I did manage to move part 1 into a separate folder and it did download and open for a second and then disappeared again all on its own, aftera couple of seconds, without my doing anything to it. So, I now give ita 1 star. I don’t want to buy the paid versions, since noone gives it more that 1 star, for either the $2.99 nor the$9.99 versions.
