Ruined photos

As I was trying to edit a photo, going through the filters to see how they looked, it locked on one of the filters and kept it there. Tried changing it back to normal, nothing. I tried deleting it, nothing. I would not go away. Then I checked in my photos library, and it switched out the original with this terrible edit that I did not even save. Ruined a very important, very old photo I had and wanted to keep.

Good great kinda works I guess! 🙄😄😈☺️ so like I put bold and it made me FAT! And I was like it's fine I'll try it again the button doesn't even work but every thing else is the best use it!

I opened the app and it has a screen telling me to give access to my photo library. When I follow the steps, I don’t see the app in the list of apps that asked permission to view my photo library. There is no button to push for it to resend permission. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling but it is still broken.
