Thoroughly addictive

When I first started this game I thought “just the app Match 3 with a spin.” I also considered it the app potential money grab from EA 🤣😜, who’ve already made me reasonably happy to shell out cash for the Simpsons Tapped Out. Man, was I WRONG on both counts! This game is a unique twist on a variety of logic puzzlers: yes, Match 3, but also elimination puzzles and intuitive aspects that keep it fresh. And - while I was convinced I’d never progress fast enough without paying real money for the privilege - by half way through level 2 I had enough game cash and candies to upgrade sufficiently to keep it enjoyable. Caveat: I did drop about $5.00 to increase newspapers from 3 to 5 and to cut in half the delivery time on items (including candy drops). Since I would have happily paid that much for such a fun game anyway, no big deal.

I really like this game. I’ve had it for a long time now, keeping through multiple phone upgrades. The puzzle are minorly repetitive, but never exactly the same. I also really appreciate the story, especially the flirting with McLean. It does take time and patience to get through a lot of the cases later on, especially if you don’t want to pay for extra candies. The only issue I’ve had so far, and it’s recent too, is that the screen doesn’t seem optimized for the new iOS. The game is working, but it’s just small (game area doesn’t fit the whole screen.). The game itself is full screen, but it’s more like the game is zoomed out and then stretched to fit the screen, if that makes sense.

OK THIS GAME is my favorite game ever. I first downloaded it years ago on my old phone and totally forgot about it until a few months ago! The story is amazing and wonderful and I just can't rave enough about this game. It is awesome. I highly recommend everyone try this game. If I had to give it any type of criticism at all (and it is not so much as criticism as it is a hope) I would say I wish this game updated with some more main plot case stories! Don't get me wrong, it ended in a fine place. But that doesn't mean I don't want more!!! Best app ever.
Why did ACS speed up?

this app is an amazing game, but something happened, and everything sort of sped up. It’s so fast that it’s super glitchy, and also, I can’t use footprints to search a place in the city search, because I end up saying that it’s the “answer”, and I just want to search it. Other than that, it’s a great game! (Just please fix it.)
