Most people seem to be rating 5 stars, which is fine, BUT I do have a big pet peeve personally. Sometimes it was difficult for me to know what I was looking for as the images don’t change when there is a change (I know this made no sense, let me explain). When you had to move the stones in Chapter 2, it would glow red when you got that part of the puzzle right, but when you would go back out to the room view, the stones were just regular. There were a few changes in room pictures, but mostly for things you would only go to once and then never visit again, (like the suitcase). Also one thing that was annoying is that for the last one, the place you used the cross, was not actually shown in the room image, even though it should of been visible. Those kind of made it hard for me to get around, but the puzzles were a good difficulty, easier at times, more difficult at other times. Overall, I enjoyed this and I do recommend it if you like these types of games.
Also yes, this is obviously a Rusty Lake “inspired” and honestly a bit more than inspired... butttt you can still enjoy it.

Good start, but could use some tweaks

As others have noted, this is a pretty faithful homage to the Rusty Lake game series. The surrealist aesthetic is on point, but one area this game is lacking is in puzzle logic. When I looked up walkthroughs for Rusty Lake, it was for things that I was too lazy to solve. With this, I looked up walkthroughs because I was genuinely confused about the next step. There could be more clues/hints throughout that help give the player an idea of the overall objective.
Also, there are only two chapters, yet the developer begs for money every few minutes. Have fun with that.

This is honestly one of the better animated games I’ve played
Yes it’s kind of a copy cat of Rusty Lake but there’s lots of games that do that. Doesn’t make the game any less exciting. Its challenging. I had to look up answers twice, but honestly what’s the fun in it if you don’t get stumped. Anyways just play it. What’s the worst that could happen? You play for 10 minutes and you dont like it, then delete the app. Give it a try though

I enjoyed it as a passable knockoff of the cube the app games. There are a lot of copies out there that just aren’t good, so this game gets points in that department. That said, I don’t think this game is as intuitive as the CE series. You should also be aware that there are only 2 chapters. I was finally tired enough of the pop up asking for money or to watch another ad that I paid the 2 bucks, only for the game to end almost immediately after that. I don’t necessarily regret giving the developer a tip for a game I kind of enjoyed, but I did feel a bit duped given how short it was (or is, so far).
