  • Across on all Devices thru cloud makes this worth the try

    By Thomasb95 (Pcmac user)

I am a Brittle diabetic and I had been a diabeties piolt user but keeping data across all device I have is a pain. This app solves the problem by using Apples cloud which is a lot better than Dibeties piot wifi unit by unit sync, The data is updated across my devices without my intervention. It is lacking in some of the features of DP but for tracking my Blood blucose, carbs and insulin usage, which are the more important data to me it is great. All they need to add is weight, cal. and blood pressure data and I would be happy. So untill then their are apps which track these. Using the extra apps is a pain and why they only rate a 4 out of 5. I assume that the use of the Apple iCloud is so it cand play nice with the new Apple Health Apps and the soon to be Apple Watch (if not please do.)
  • Lacking features and contains a critical error.

    By TheOldManAtSea (Pcmac user)

Not even close to prime time. First, the worst: the synchronization through iCloud to iOS version of software broken. I’ve had numerous cases of data getting lost in either direction. Data entered into iOS app will appear briefly on the desktop software, then several hours, later it’s gone. Once it completely wiped out four days of readings on both devices! (I had a backup, fortunately.) Other then that: Only one type of graph available (scatter) which is extremely hard to read. Types of med and insulin entered into desktop aren’t reflected on mobile app. It won’t graph BG readings against insulin units taken. (That’s ridicules. The data is there, why the graphs won’t support it is beyond me.) Graphs won’t show anything but an awkward ‘time of day’ against BG level, but only for a single day! No weekly, monthly, etc. You can set the date range, but that plops the scatter points in different colors for the different days all over each other. Reports are middle school level. Exports data to a cvs file, but then your have to really tweek your spreadsheet to get the stuff in the right order to graph well. I could go on…. Wasted 15 bucks on this one, plus the charge for the iOS app. You’ve been warned...
  • marginal functionality and seriously overpriced

    By Elmo151 (Pcmac user)

I only purchased this app in the search for a better app to keep track of my diabetes related readings and issues. I thought with the exorbitant price there would be some extraordinary functionality. I was really wrong. It is overpriced and has minimal functionality. It only plots a not very useful graph or two. It might be more appropriate for to be priced at $.99 avoid it!
  • Does not download information from PDM, useless

    By Calexander69 (Pcmac user)

If it will not take information automatically off my PDM, then it is useless. I might as well just make an excel spreadsheet.
