What is iOTRS?
iOTRS is a native client for the open-source helpdesk software OTRS. It is a universal app for iPhone and iPad and is tested against the current versions of OTRS. The app is built for performance and tries to minimize and parallelize queries to the server to be fast. It is customizable and allows users to select queue groups they want to see. The app also supports autorefresh and ticket search (requires patched iPhone handle). It has attachment support, allows users to create tickets, close tickets, move to other queues, reply with email to tickets, add notes/articles to tickets, and use OTRS ticket reply templates. The app also supports sending push messages to the IOS device on new tickets, assigned tickets, or follow-up tickets from customers (in-app purchase). It can be opened with a ticket ID using iotrs://open/ticketid/122.
1. It will work with the Standard OTRS iPhone Handle, but for some advanced Features (Ticket Search, Attachement Support-Reading), it is nessaccery to install a additional OTRS Module - see my support Site.
2. It is built as Universal App for iPhone and iPad and is tested against the Current Versions of OTRS (3.2.8 and upwards).
3. This app requires to have the OTRS iPhone Handle extension installed.
4. iOTRS is a Nativ Client for the Open Source Helpdesk Software OTRS.
5. If you want to have additional Features in the app, please let me know and i will do my best to include it in future releases.
