  • Very Useful for Automorive Circuit Digrams

    By Jaguarles (Pcmac user)

I Searched around for something to help recreate the ciurcuit diagram for my classic car before I started making mods and the was the most useful program I found. Works well once you learn the UI but has a habit of crashing and restarting. Save frequently.
  • Limited import

    By Capt Meatballs (Pcmac user)

This app is pretty cool, but you are stuck with the designs that come with it, or the ones you make yourself, since there is no ability to import any other type of file formats. I have hundreds of electrical schematics on DWG, but I cannot import them. Other than that it would be a pretty cool app. As it is I could not recommend it, but add some import ability, and I’d happily use it all day.
  • Some good things, some things could be better.

    By Find-out (Pcmac user)

The more I use this application the more I like it. However, in the beginning, I was quite disappointed at the limited number of “useful” symbols there are in the library. To be fair, I am not an electronics kind of person and there are many symbols in the library. I simply wanted a way to create primitive AUTOMOTIVE wiring diagrams to express some pretty simple ideas. Looking at diagrams from people that actually are electronic savvy, mine are very primitive, but the symbol choices in the library did not help me much with my particular projects. I have completed quite a few projects with this program and have become considerably more efficient at drawing my own versions of simple relays, connector housings, motors, even primitive, but effective, sketches of mechanical projects. I like that I can copy items I created from different layer within the same project file, or even from one project file to a different project file, reusing common components. One feature I really like is the ability to group components together so when you relocate the “assembly” to a different place on the drawing (or to another layer or project file) all of the components stay in the same relationship to each other as they were originally drawn. You can break the dependancy temporarly to modify individual components them re-group them when finished with the edit. :) I have tried to save some of my own “created symbols” in the symbol library but I find them cumbersome when I want to change their size in later drawings. My original disappointment has dissipated as my skill level and familiarity with this program has improved.
  • Lousy electronic symbols, cumbersone

    By targakid (Pcmac user)

Electronic symbols are not standard and difficult to modify. The package is too cumbersome to use. Waste of my time
