Trunk Club - Personal Styling for Pc

I received 3 or 4 trunks. No stylist ever really listened to me... no undergarments, no jewelry, no pointed toe shoes... that what I got in every the app. There were some winner and items I really loved that I kept but maybe one item per box. Then I kept a pair of $100+ jeans. Wore them twice and they started to unravel mid pant leg. I sent an explanation and pictures. I was IMMEDIATELY told it was a issue from wear and tear and not a defect in the product. I could not return. But she did send me a link for an article on how to fix my jeans myself... a 9 step sewing process that takes 25-35 min (per the article). Whaaaat???? The $100 jeans have a defect. I wore them twice. And now I get to spend 35 min and a trip to the craft store to try to fix my defect jeans???? I’m sure if I took these jeans back into a Nordstrom with a receipt I would be able to, at minimum, exchange them. The kicker was when I pushed back and said her answer was unacceptable and the jeans clearly had a defect... she told me I was wrong and offered to send me my next scheduled the app early! Yes, please take more of my money, don’t listen at all about what I want or my style, send me defective clothes, tell me how to gain my seamstress merit badge and fix my own defective pants, and then ask me for more money!!!!!! Nordstrom should be careful with the degradation of their brand with this sham of a service that has zero customer service or product Integrity.

I’m so excited about this app. Not only is my stylist, Kristen, amazing and on-point with suggestions but she really cares about my clothing and comfortability preferences -taking them into account the whole time. I like feeling confident and I have a pretty good base of understanding how to put an outfit together (I went to an all-girl high school so it was TOUGH learning post-uniform-life lol, but eventually I got it). However, this service paired with an actual living & attentive stylist (vs box services that use algorithms without any human interaction) is a game-changer! With a new job, more traditional hours, and some chronic health problems that make energy & time all too precious, this service is the pressure release button I’ve been searching for without ever knowing it. Do it. Try it out. I’ve already made up the cost in peace of mind and time saved from wandering the mall in frustration.

When I first started using this app, I reviewed the items the stylist selected and didn’t like anything, so I declined the the app, immediately I was messaged- “I ask you not to decline a the app as I only have 30 minutes to put it together” (??) Confused about the 30 minutes thing(I don’t believe that’s a piece I need to care about or know about?) and surprised that I as a customer “should not decline” something I don’t like and don’t want to buy, I apologized and consistently used their service, bought things for about an year now. My next scheduled the app was supposed to be a little more than a month from now, but the stylist decided to go ahead and created another the app. Since “I should not decline a the app”, when they create a the app for you, you’re already doomed to be charged the $25 styling fee. It seems like it doesn’t matter that I have a big wardrobe now and don’t need anything. It feels like if she wants to send me something, i should just pay the fee or keep something to make the fee worth it. Don’t use this if you don’t like pushy services. I’m done.

I’ve worked with this app on two different occasions. The first one my stylist was nice enough however all the clothes that she sent were so huge I could’ve fit two of me in them. It was like she did not look at my sizes at all. I just had to turn around and send everything back. Then a couple months later, I decided to try it again but to no avail. My stylist this time name Janet was rude and pushy and did not listen to anything thing I said! First she told me when she first got the the app put together not to take anything out of the the app before I talk to her. I don’t know about you but I think it’s the customer that decides that. Then after I denied everything in the the app because it wasn’t anything that I asked for, she did a whole new the app and did the exact same thing and didn’t get anything that I asked for again! Everything was overpriced as to what I said I would pay, none of the pieces were what I requested, and the one she did it get were so ugly I would never buy them even if they were cheap. Then Janet proceeds to tell me what I asked for! I will never use the service again. App deleted.
