What is iSmart DV? iSmartDV is an app that allows you to control iCatch Technology's DSP camera using your iPhone or iPad. You can use it as a remote viewfinder/preview and view your photo album. The app also offers support for burst shot, delay capture, video quality change, image size change, white-balance change, and more. You can also format the camera SD card, list photo and video files, and download or delete files. The app supports social network sharing and allows you to change the camera SSID and password.

Software Features and Description

1. A: Before download, you should make sure the video format is compatible with iPhone/iPad, and allow iSmart DV to access Photo Library.

2. Trigger action, In the preview stream, you can trigger camera to take a video or picture.

3. With iSmartDV, you could control the iCatch Technology's based DSP camera by using your iPhone or iPad.

4. in iPhone/iPad, Setting->Wi-Fi turn it on and find out camera SSID then connect.

5. A: First make sure you have follow connection step and established the connection, second, try to pding 192.168.1.1 by other Apps, like Ping Lite, make sure the wireless signal was strong enough for work.

6. Listing photo & video files and download or delete files.

7. Support video playback with audio before download.

8. Turn on the Camera Wi-Fi, it will act as a Wi-Fi AP.

9. Automatic time correction with iPhone or iPad when established the connection.

10. Now you can streaming the preview, take a picture or video.

11. Like remote viewfinder/preview, view photo album.

Install iSmart DV app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "iSmart DV"
The search will reveal the iSmart DV app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once iSmart DV is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including iSmart DV.

The app over all works great, however I noticed that it takes a long time some times to download videos or pics and it sometimes it gets a bit buggie so there is room for improvements there. Over all it works other than the few bugs while downloading the camera content
Cool but crashes too much

Works great initially. I am able to connect to the camera just fine. When I’m able to download videos it is a bit slow. After a few attempts of trying to search through different videos the app then freezes and I can no longer select anything else. When I tried to back out it tells me preview from Camera is no longer available so I have to reset everything and start all over

This is my first 4K el7000 action camera, and is so easy to setup it only take a 10 min. To setup and start soothing ,or streaming video and you have an option for storage ( if like more pictures and videos save on lower quality,or high quality less) I will recommend this camera to all my family and friends. Many products that I used had apps that were years out of date. They would never update the app because the product it was built for went obsolete. This app is great, because even though the camera I purchased was from early 2017, this app is still optimized for the latest iOS software. Great job, guys!
