Waste of Time and Money! Never again!

I wish we could leave 0 stars. After recently having surgery on my ankle my family member recommended a grocery app to help. After downloading and ordering $300+ in groceries I was at first pleasantly surprised. Until my delivery day.... I was scheduled for 3-4pm. Made sure I had help at home. By 445, no groceries, no call, no texts. Say on hold for 35 mins only to be told “Oh, sorry I don’t see why, but your delivery is delayed till 845” What! As a courtesy she offered a $20 discount due to my inconvenience. My delivery driver finally called around 815 asking if I still wanted my order? Seriously? YES! She arrives late again, drops all the crates off at the door. Like I said I just had surgery and can not bear weight on ankle. Now what? After I finally get my groceries in.... I find I am missing 20+ items. Most of which THEY CHARGED ME FOR! Plus quite a few I ordered and wasn’t even on purchase receipt. I again called, 45 mins hold this time. Proceeded to ask me if I asked the driver to check the truck? I again explained I couldn’t walk. She left this at my door. Then offered to credit my account.... HELL no! I won’t be using your service ever again. He then offered me a refund of all missing product. It’s now 4 days later and I still have yet to see a refund of missing product nor the $20 fee. I have also emailed their customer service.... again no response. HORRIBLE!

High anxiety

I have to have grocery delivery due to health issues. I have to say, this is quite literally the worst app ( and website)I have ever used.
Today, the problem was not being able to check out. Also, I wanted to order some red delicious apples, but the app just kept showing that broken circle, like, duh, “can’t find the apples”. I think it would be a good thing to send emails prior to delivery to show what items were out of stock. I simply wouldn’t put an order in for something you don’t even have! I have the same problem searching for an item I’ve been ordering forever and the app says search results show 0.
I really need my groceries but I put off ordering because I always have some sort of problem with the ordering process and I really get anxious just thinking about it. I tell friends and family not to shop the app delivery. You’ve lost a customer because of the horrible app and the fact that the customer service phone # never gets answered. On hold forever till I just hang up. But I guess that’s what you count on. If there really is a customer service contact phone option, the employees behind this should be monitored, maybe fired because they make the words “ customer service” a joke. Shame on you! Have you noticed your rating lately? 1.7 out of 5. I would rate it less than that!

Meltdown

I ordered our weekly shopping yesterday that tallied over $300. For 12 hours I was unable to check out with several credit cards all refused. These are healthy cards. In trying to reach the 877 number for deliveries there was nothing but endless holds and no info nor real person. A functionary at my La Quinta store informed me late in the day of their new app and that should now be downloaded. There was no notice of a new app. And that new app does not allow you to sign in and is missing the aisles component. Hey, things were working well. You’ve gone and ruined your site. You won’t be getting many if any orders. Shame.

Declined in quality & service

I used to love the app delivery and used them for over a year. Their customer service used to be great and their delivery drivers were well trained. Recently, they began using door dash to deliver to my neighborhood. The quality of service is not the same. After today's delivery fiasco, I do not plan on using the app delivery anymore. Long story short the driver didn't deliver my groceries because he couldn't find the key pad to get into my apartment complex. I called customer service with over an hour left of my delivery window after I was unable to connect with the driver. Three hours later of being on the phone on and off with different people, they agreed to send one of their employees to deliver my groceries. When the groceries finally arrived they were in poor condition. The produce was bruised and an item was missing. I'm not even sure if the perishables are safe to eat because I'm afraid the food wasn't stored properly. This was extremely inconvenient, defeating the purpose of using the delivery app in the first place. I might as well use instacart, they at least offer a variety of stores to shop from.
