  • Beautiful

    By Nickdraw (Pcmac user)

I don't usually leave reviews, but I must say this app perfectly combines function and beauty. Simple elegant and user friendly with all the features you would want in a utility app of this sort. I did a lot of research on other similar apps and most fell short of my expectations, but this one hit the nail in the head. Now I can sleep comfortably knowing my daughter won't be left in the cold during a blackout. Plus as a designer I have a have a love for beauty in simplicity.
  • Great But...

    By chrisd7 (Pcmac user)

This is a very good idea and does fulfill the basic power outage alert. There are two things this app is badly missing: A detailed log, which records all the history of power outages etc. And even more importantly, a function to send alerts via email, text message or 3rd party apps to other devices/contacts in case the power is out. Preferably configurable, e.g. only send alert when power is out for more than 5min, repeated alerts, where to send what alert notification based on criteria etc. If the app can do that then it will be top of the line!
  • This app is only missing one thing.

    By Mossybank2000 (Pcmac user)

First off let me say I love this app. I have several uses for it. While in the airport I want to charge my phone and also close my eyes while I am waiting for my next flight. I'm always worried someone will walk off with my phone while I had my eyes closed. My solution is to use this app and then lock the screen using Guided Access. That way it cannot be turned off without a code. I also use this app to find breakers on my electrical panel in my house. I can keep flipping the breaker is off until I hear the one alarm that I am looking for. The only thing this app is missing is the ability to have the lights come on automatically if the power fails. I see a switch where you could turn it on manually but if you could do this automatically when the power fails it would be a five star app. Then I could leave my old iPhone 4 just plugged into the wall for an emergency light in the house when the power goes out. Other than this it is great and simple and I recommend it to anyone that would have such a need.
  • Nice & easy peace of mind

    By Foncho27 (Pcmac user)

In a storm I can finally sleep without worrying about my sump pump getting out of power and get my basement flooded. I launch the app and leave my cellphone charging, if power goes out the alarm goes off and then I have enough time to get my generator going. Peace of mind.
