1. There were many versions of the game over the year and I wanted to keep the core of the game while giving options to fine tune according to a player's liking.

2. Classic snake is the most customisable snake game you will ever find.

3. Snake is a game concept from a simpler time.

4. Grow-rate - Choose how fast the snake grows on eating each target (in settings).

5. Number of targets: Control how many targets the snake has at any time.

6. I made Classic Snake because I loved playing it on my Commodore 64 back in the 80s.

7. I've tried to retain that core flavour, while also letting you customise the game as you like.

Install Classic Snake app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Using Classic Snake on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Classic Snake"
The search will reveal the Classic Snake app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Classic Snake is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Classic Snake.
Now enjoy Classic Snake on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Classic Snake,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Classic Snake" » then Click "Install".
- Classic Snake will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

What I was looking for!

Recently I’ve been on a vintage game boy kick and ordered a bunch of Japanese game boy games. One of them was called Kakomunja which was released over here under the title Serpent. It’s a fascinating game that I heard was based off a the app game called Snake. I wanted something similar and this this app app totally satisfies! Thank you!!!

im pretty disappointed because when i was having a good time and playing my game i finally got a new high score/i tripled it and right after it tripled it something happend and it quit on me but over all its great

This game is a perfect time killer. It's the only simple version of the game I could find, even online. Works flawlessly on my basic retina pro. Has all the "the app" features that are really hard to find in one version of the game. Some versions kill you if you touch the borders but this one transports you to the other side, as it should. Pretty fast paced, would be nice if there was a feature that let you set the speed, but otherwise the lack of options is good because it keeps it simple. Pause, change skin, (change background is "b" but I don't think it says it anywhere), that's all you really need. All the bugs were fixed, this game is like a dream to me. Thanks!
Really great game

This game is so simple and time consuming, I love it! It is always updating and getting new features which is awesome. I read some of the other reviews and noticed that people's suggestions were actually put to use. Great simple game, and the (I don't know what to call him) maker/developer really puts effort into this game instead of just leaving it alone.
