Install Standard Snake app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:

Lots of choices

I enjoyed the first version, but the update makes the screen look sleek and the sound effects are more responsive. It’s a wonderful way destress and take a short break, or to spend a while testing one’s responses to the moving target. I like the new sounds effects as well.
I like the fact that the new version can disable walls - a choice I use when I am tired and don’t want to crash right away. And disabling the sound effects lets me play late into the night without disturbing anyone. I spend far too much time on this addictive game.

Not Bad Version of This Classic Mac Game

Back in the day of the Apple IIE, Snake and Columns were THE games. I loved snake and this is an okay little version of the classic. It's really small on a computer screen, though.
The biggest dissapointment, thouigh, was that the snake doesn't run into the walls and die. That was the major hazard of Snake, followed by the snake running into itself. This version of the game not haveing that important hazard makes it way too easy.

Well-elaborated game! Nice attention to details without loosing any fidelity of the classic game. It could easily be better than the original.
Put this on the iOS app store with swipe gestures to change directions and sell it for 1 dollar and it will be a hit!

Pretty good, but add back old features please!

I really like this game; it’s a fun thing to boot up when I have nothing to do. However, the most recent update made some pretty big changes, and I think adding back old options would be great. Things that I’d like to see in the next update:
-Option to change volume/mute sound FX
-Option to remove solid walls
-Small window mode? Maybe just a “classic” option to restore original gameplay?
I really appreciate that the dev is still updating it after all these years, this is just what I’d like to see happen if possible.
