  • I like it a lot

By Boogie on Fingie (Pcmac user)

I really like this game. It has a peaceful nature and point and click makes it friendly to use. The scenery artwork is very nice to see the bear walk around in, as well the charactors are fun to interface with. The music is perfect and memerable! This is not a fast pace game, but just right for young or older people if you just want a realaxing game. I as well bought the the app Floopy Ear Kayak and liked it to. I really hope they keep making them. I will keep buying them if they do. I am a customer and in NO way in connection with this game company. These are my true thoughts of the game and my experience. The game is not super long, but for the price it is fair, which brings me to mention I would be happy to pay twice the price or more for a much longer gameplay since I like this kind of game. Thanks.
  • Frustrated

    By Mommydynx (Pcmac user)

Update 3 more hours: I upgraded my review to four stars because we found the key. One time, when my son clicked on the bee, it actually talked and gave the clue that the nest was the magpie nest, and so it was easy to figure out how to get back to the magpie and how to get the key. The frustrating thing is that I and my daughter and I had both clicked on the bee numerous time, and it just bobbed up and down, with the speak sign showing, but no words came out (and the dialogue was turned on high). So it seems there was a bug, but moving on from there had all three kids crowding around the computer. They really enjoyed it, except the bear keeps making promises along the way, which the child cannot control, so now they are stuck trying to find the honey for the bear, so who knows if there is another bug that is preventing them from finding the answer. Anyway, I give it a high mark because the graphics are beautiful, and the bear has captured the imagination of my 3yo. I can't give it five stars, though, because it seems a little buggy, and the actual game story is not something a small child can do independently. i think it would lose an older child rather quickly. 4 hours later. I'm downgrading my review to one star until we can access the key. My 3yo has been fixated on "We have to find the wost missing waddeh (lost missing ladder)," which is the only thing he can imagine that could get the key down from the tree--it does not exist . My six-year-old, who has been trying to help him for another good hour or so, keeps stating, "This is the dumbest game, ever!" which only sends the 3yo into paroxysms of "NO! It's the very best game evah!" while the 9yo begins pontificating on all the merits and faults of the game. I am about to go batty--if this is geared toward 3yo, there needs to be more obvious solutions, and the music loop, which is fine initially, but after a few hours, I am about to lose my mind. I've been playing this for a half hour with my 3yo son. Plusses so far: Graphics are appealing. Good practice for my 3yo to learn mouse skills. British accents are fun (we just spent a month in London last year). The map aspect is appealing. The bear has to find an address, so you click on an icon, and the map of the entire game appears, and you can zoom in on the various places. You click on the yellow arrows to make the bear move in the right direction. So, we found the address of bear's uncle, and the uncle told the bear to get the lost key to the basement so he can get his new present, a camera, which is essential for his quest (go to the plenair by following the white and green stripe signs). So, we went to the attic (the only option for yellow arrows), and we saw the key in a nest outside the window. We clicked on the key, and the bear says "No, no!" We click on everything else in the attic, and we can't get to the key, so we go back downstairs, and outside in the garden. You can see the key from the garden, up in that dratted nest, and we intuitively click on it, but the bear says, "No, no!" We click on every last thing on the page, and it's "No, no!" or the bear moves pointlessly in that direction. We click on a bee, and the be shows the quotation bubble, but doesn't say anything. I keep thinking, the bee will stop bobbing up and down, and go fly up and get the key, but it never does. We finally leave the garden, and continue on the quest, and it tells us that we can't forget the camera, and we are locked out of the next step. Sigh. My 9yo, who is quite bright, and familiar with varying video games couldn't find how to get the dratted key. So, can anyone tell me the trick to getting the key down from the tree. My 3yo still says, "I like this game for you and me, Mommy!" but I am a little stressed--this can't be for a 3yo if an adult and a computer kid can't obtain the key. Maybe if someone can help me out, I will give this another chance.
  • Great game!

    By Johnny K.W. (Pcmac user)

I really don't know what the other two guys are complaining about. I really like this game and so is my 5 year old son. The graphics are fantastic, the music is very calming, the mini games are interesting & educational and the story is really interesting. I would recommend it to anybody who wants his/her kid to play a valuable and well made game. Thumbs up!
  • What a joke

    By RedThinker (Pcmac user)

The game is slow pointless and extremely buggy. Trying keeping a 4 year old interested in this game. I can't believe that Apple is featuring this horrible game.
