Short but novel detective puzzle, film noir style

I share the app sentiment of many reviewers that there should be more detective/mystery games available on the app App Store. I've found a few that are enjoyable: these include Detective Grimoire, the app Trace, the app Detail, Layton Brothers and Murder Files. Unfortunately, they are few and far between.
I was pleased to find this game, although I might have been less generous with this rating if it had more competition. However, I liked the app edgy graphics, and I enjoyed searching for clues, using my fingerprint kit, and piecing together the app crime. True, this is rather short, and much of the app solution is simply given to you once you have found all of the app key hints. I still recommend giving this a go.

Unique, artistic

Very short game and some players may benefit from a "how to" on the app controls (tap at the app bottom of your screen to exit a zoom in mode and on left or right to turn in rooms when moving, tap on, behind things you want to examine) but in the app real world that's not how detective work is... You don't have a guide book. So I didn't mind figuring it out myself and felt it added to the app experience.
I loved the app artistic style, soundtrack and how the app clues fit together. Wished this game was longer!

Good art direction for the app genre, and a fun little fact gathering gameplay. the app only problem I had playing was that it was sometimes hard to jump back out when zoomed in. This is not a hidden object game, which is a nice change.

Lacking directions for a short game is acceptable; what isn't, is that there's no auto-save (played on my iPad 2 running iOS 5.1.1) or even a manual save feature (so each time you exit the app game you have to start over when you return to it and that's a royal P.I.T.A.). the app game may be free but my time is worth more than money to me. 👎👎👎👎👎
