Gunship-II LITE for Pc

Here's the deal with this app… 1. the only free mission is the first (fly supplies from an aircraft carrier to a land base). The rest all require in-app purchase. 2. there is almost no tutorial. A couple screens at teh begining saying how to change perspective, operate throttle, rudder and pitch controls is all you get. They even got that wrong, since while I was mashing around on the keyboard I discovered there are controls to look left and right while not changing perspective or direction (Q and E, if you're really interested). 3. There is no indication of where the forward base is, but a couple seconds of hovering at altitude and it is fairly visible from the ship. 4. Once there, there is a landing pad for a helicopter - it does NOTHING. The only apparent way to end this game is to crash and die, or quit out of it. There are no other bases, and flying in any direction too long results in your helicopter exploding in mid-air. It doesn't matter where at the base you land - the heli-pad, landing strip, or on top of one of the jets - nothing happens. Hovering over the ship waiting for further instructions gets you nothing. It would seem this is a very poor teaser for a game that does not promise to be very playable. Save your time.

The controls are easy enough, but the directions are not very clear. There is no clear way to complete the mission. You can fly around and go through the motions if you happen to find where you are supposed to go, but they won't tell you where that is. The only directions are those that tell you that you are not doing the mission, but these don't give you enough time to turn around before you destroyed.

On the pocket edition of this game, I got the lite version. In the pockect edition there was arrows. In this one there aren't. I then got the full version, based on the fact that there might be more missions and new aircraft in updates. Unfortunatly this was not the case. I thought that the computer version was better than the pocket edition before downloading it, but then I was put down again. Please live up to your word and do updates. Maybe then I will consider getting the full version.

This game is terrible. Actually, it is not really even a game. A game is something you play and is supposed to be fun. This is neither. I'm shocked it was even allowed into the app store. It is not developed. It is not clear what you are supposed to be doing. The controls are not good. I love all flying games. Even lame ones and I couldn't enjoy this at all. I also am not someone who writes reviews but this was so bad, I had to write something. It is a waste of hard drive space. Don't bother.
