  • Needs better Image Stabilization support

    By JB_63 (Pcmac user)

For the most part Pure Shot is a great app. It gives you control over exposure, white balance, focus, and file format (including RAW) that otherwise isn't available with the default Camera app. But ... unless I'm missing something Pure Shot does not fully support the Image Stabilization built into more recent iPhones (at least the iPhone X). It appears that IS isn't used at all when saving in RAW mode, and even when saving in JPG mode low light shots show much more camera shake than the Camera app. As a result Pure Shot is of little use to me in lower light shots. I'll keep it for other difficult lighting and focus situations, but mediocre IS support keeps it from being a go-to app.
  • My 2nd favorite camera app

By Dent De Leon (Pcmac user)

I'm using 645 Pro more these days for landscapes and sunsets but I keep this app set on auto bracketing for quick shots. I have a custom white balance I can quickly access for indoor lighting; I don't know of any apps by other developers that give the options I have with this app and 645.
  • Abandonware? Needs serious iOS 12/XS update

    By HeyNeenz (Pcmac user)

Not optimized for the X / XS / XS Max. Needs update for iOS 12 as last update was 11 mo ago. The app is sluggish and freezes. Looks like abandonware which is too bad as there’s lots of potential here.
  • Awesome full control

    By Drojas4 (Pcmac user)

Wow great app, full control turns my IPhone SE into a Mini DSLR
