Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Curved Text"
The search will reveal the Curved Text app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Curved Text is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Curved Text.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Curved Text" » then Click "Install".

Not as elegant as Calligraph Your Name.

This app fills a gaping hole in the area of typography and typestyles for your phone. However, it lacks the elegant simplicity of Calligraph Your Name’s user interface. Moreover, it lacks the selection of elegant fonts found on that app. Both apps lack the three most useful calligraphy fonts for Japanese. Aoyagi Kouzan, Epson Kaisho, and Sword Kanji. And there’s nothing that resembles Fountain Pen Frenzy. I share the frustration expressed by others that you can’t tweak the arc, the font size, and the spacing (tracking, leading and kerning). Hard to work with! That said, I highly recommend this app. Nothing out in the iPhone universe comes close.

It's a good app. I use it EVERY SINGLE DAY. I find it very useful. BUT... When I have inserted text and set it up, once I tap the photo and the text isn't highlighted to be edited anymore, I can't get my iPhone 6s to be able to tap the text again to highlight it again and improve it. Why? Please fix this. It's becoming next to impossible to use when I can't edit the text to look exactly as I want it to. That's my only issue!
You can’t do a plain background

Yeah they’ve got a few “fun” backgrounds, but nothing that is plain or the option of no background - not worth the money
