What is Rome Typology?
Rome Typology is an architectural city guide app that helps users discover hidden architectural gems of the 20th century in Rome. The app is a result of academic research in eight cities and is designed for architects, building enthusiasts, and travelers. It provides information on more than 40 buildings in Rome, including facts and figures, contextual and historical insights, floor plans and axonometric drawings, recent photos, and a map locator. The app is part of a collection of city guides, with seven more available on the AppStore.
1. The result of an academic research in eight cities, these original city apps for architects, building enthusiasts and travellers have been conceived by Christ & Gantenbein and their team at ETH Zurich.
2. This inventory of metropolitan and essentially ubiquitous 20th century buildings exposes a systematic yet subjective compilation of urban architecture around the world.
3. Seven more city guides are available on the AppStore: Athens, Buenos Aires, Delhi, Hong Kong, New York, Paris, São Paulo.
