  • Amazing app but I'm giving it 1star

    By gmlaster (Pcmac user)

The app was well worth what I paid for it and then some. So good, in fact, that I was willing to overlook the incredible inconvenience of having the sub-folders inside my playlists ignored, resulting in my music being a big jumble instead of neatly organized according to my desired order of play. But I will NOT EVER pay twice for something, not even for this incredible app. I don't care how cheap the profiles are. If the app was smart, they'd go back to charging for the app and keeping the profiles free. At least you know once you've paid for the app, you're done paying for the app. My iPod still runs the app the way it was when I bought it, so I'm keeping it. I just won't ever update it. But I'm not re-paying for profiles for my iPad and iPhone that I already own. Too bad, the app. But for your greedy business practices, you'd have had a five-star rating from me and a lifelong customer. Now all you have is my contempt. You should fire whoever did this to your business model. Updates should build customer loyalty, not drive customers away.
  • Disappointed

    By Olen Rasp (Pcmac user)

I purchased this app over 4 years ago and it supported a limited number of headphones. Along the way they changed their revenue model and made the app free and charged $1.99 for each headphone EQ. They removed all of the headphones I had "saved" and now want me to purchase each anew. No thanks! They still do not support many of my Sennheiser headphones. With my luck they'll change their app again just to get me to pay a third time for the same thing. Previous review: So far there are only a limited number of headphone models supported (not that many Sennheisers). It makes my Koss Porta-Pros sound ridiculously good, but I think it makes the Earpods sound slightly worse (too bass heavy). The user interface is not a good as the native music app, but it works. If you use iCloud you have to download the music to the device for the processing to be applied.
  • $2 per headphone for outstanding tuning

    By p@cm@n (Pcmac user)

I use this app with Audio Technica ATH-ANC9 headphones and the sound is much cleaner than what I was able to achieve with the EQ settings in the iOS Music app. The app is free but each headphone model including buds are $2. I use my headphones all the time and its well worth it. Don't rate the app down for this. No ads so it has to cost something. Still using this app regularly. Hopefully the app will keep updating its been a while.
  • Doesn’t recognize playlists in folders

    By Miguel Luna (Pcmac user)

Love this app, however it doesn’t recognize playlists within playlist folders. That is, any songs organized in playlists in a playlist folder within iTunes are just combined within the folder without the playlists.. The music player that comes with iOS recognizes the playlist-within-folder organization, though.
