Something odd happens close to corner pockets. When a ball approaches at just the wrong angle where it won't drop but rather bounce between the sides just at the mouth of the pocket, there is this strange gain of ball energy where it will spit back out on the table with more speed than it went in with. I've looked for a settings option with no luck. I suspect, or all things, a simple error in a constant or something. Surprised it hasn't been found already. Perhaps my install is not working well? I'll try to reinstall ... if the problem subsides will increase this to 5.

After many emails to the developer, there is still no programming update to this terrible multiplayer game.... There are not many people who play multiplayer so the developer has programmed a CPU player named "Opponent" which will join your multiplayer game and you can't leave that game unless you quit the program, and log in again (the programming is so bad by the way that it takes five choices just to log in to the game each time you log in to the multiplayer game.... this should be one button choice but the developers improve NOTHING). So every time you set up a multiplayer game that other guys like you can join, the CPU jumps in and ruins the game. IF WE WANTED TO PLAY A CPU, THE SINGLE PLAYER GAME HAS MORE OPTIONS WITH A CPU!!!! WE DON'T NEED A CPU PLAYER ON THE MULTIPLAYER SIDE WITH NO OPTIONS TO BLOCK THE CPU PLAYER!!! Then, there is no notification system written by the developer so when you do manage to start a multiplayer game and the CPU player doesn't come in and ruin it, you will never know when someone else joins the game. So you are not going to sit here and watch the screen while "waiting for other players to join" sits in the middle of the screen.... naturaly, you go to another app and do something else while you wait... only to come back and find out someone joined your game, waited for a while, and had to leave. Conversly, many times when you join a game, the other player is not there.... he's doing something else on his computer, naturally... because he's not going to sit there and watch the same mentioned screen. The developer has no common sense, or they just do not want to do ANYTHING to improve the game. So good luck if you actually get someone to join the game. Maybe on the weekend when you can actually sit there and watch the screen waiting for someone else to join. I've written the developer many emails recommending a friends list where we can block the CPU and other players and a notification system where we can get a message while using another app that someone actually joined and is waiting to play. The developer is missing in action. I recommend not choosing this app until this kind of feedback goes away and they actually make a multiplayer game that works.

SEPT. 7, 2014 － I purchased this app and I am hooked! It offers more billiards games than any other billiards software in the App Store: US Eight-ball, Nine-ball, Ten-ball, Snooker (six red balls, ten red balls and the standard fifteen red balls versions) and two versions of Blackball (UK Eight-ball)! Graphics and physics are realistic. It works smoothly on my MacBook. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because it doesn’t yet offer the option of playing live people online, but I e-mailed them about this and they got back to me the next morning stating they will add an online-play option in the very near future. They also plan on adding more games. I hope they will offer Rotation Pool and Straight (14.1) Pool! UPDATE: SEPT. 9, 2014 － Ten-ball isn’t played the way Ten-ball should be played. Ten-ball is suppose to be a called-shot game and the 10-ball is suppose to be the last ball to be pocketed; pocketing the 10-ball before then results in a penalty (the next player gets ball-in-hand) and the 10-ball is re-spotted on foot spot of the table. PS&P 2012’s version of Ten-ball is played just like Nine-ball where no shots are called and pocketing the 10-ball (after striking the object call) results in an automatic win. I hope they reprogram the Ten-ball feature to be played the way Ten-ball is meant to be played.
