Relaxing and meditative

This app won't teach correct form for holding a brush, or the art of creating the right line, but it is EXCELLENT practice to learn the correct order of strokes. It's also a great micro-break at work! I find myself using it throughout the day. I would love to see improved definitions of the characters and a way to practice groups of words that share a given character.
Helpful for learning stroke order

I've studied Chinese a bit and thought I'd just poke around a bit to see if there were any good calligraphy apps... This one, with the app brush strokes, has taught me that I need to "brush up" on my stroke order! How useful! I'd definitely recommend it to Chinese n00bs like me.

Great art work. Smooth operation. Rapid feedback. It could be better to have more characters to choose. Or maybe a character list is preferred.

I have downloaded several similar apps, this is the best so far. I like the feature that it tells you the orders of a character.
