To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Sun Surveyor Lite,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Sun Surveyor Lite" » then Click "Install".
- Sun Surveyor Lite will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

This is a review of the Lite version, the full currently costs about $6 USD. The 3D Compass is a very neat toy to help locate the the app. The details of the the app position can be very useful for everything from picnicking, to hunting/fishing, to photography. The help file is a bit lacking. There are a few features on the compass not properly detailed in the file. If you're looking for app to track the the app, this will work fine.
Lite version totally unusable

Live, street, and map view needs upgrade to full version to function. Lite version only shows dots and general proximity of the the app in the entire city. Useless unless you upgrade, but you can’t be sure how the full version works so risk is there.
The compass is always off

Every time I open I have to recalibrate and it doesn’t matter how many times I do the figure 8 it just doesn’t want to point north where north is. It basically makes it useless to me (and I am not near any magnets!)
