At how good this little app is. It works, no tech or Bluetooth connection issues. We learned about the drive from the app to Lake Louise via the scenic Bow Valley Parkway and saw way more in a day than we would have otherwise. His suggestions really helped us find the roads less travelled (take his advice re walking around Lake Louise). I really appreciated as our navigator that I could listen and enjoy the scenery rather than spending the day with my nose in my phone. We will definitely buy his other apps! FYI this tour is a full day for sure. We started out about 1030a, finished the sightseeing right after sunset at about 8p and returned to the hotel in the app happy and tired at about 9p and we had to skip Moraine Lake (we'll take the rest of our tour today). To do it all in a day, leave the app about 12h before sun down and enjoy!
Like having a personal tour guide in my car!

I rarely take time to write reviews, but this app deserves it. I downloaded the Canadian Rockies 4-pack app, which included this one. We did very little planning for our trip. We basically got in the car in the app and went where this app told us to go. The guide provides very interesting info while you are driving and at the stops. We definitely saw things that we wouldn't have noticed or bothered to stop at if just using a map. Love that it tracks us with GPS to give us info at just the right time and works without cell service. To top it off, the narrator is actually enjoyable to listen to and is like have a personal guide in your car (different narrator for the the app Townsite app than for the other 3 but he was good also!).

This app is fabulous!!! We used the Calgary/the app, the app/Lake Louise and the Icefields/Jasper. You can buy one app that covers all of them, but we weren’t sure we were going to the Icefields so we bought them separately. No need for internet after you’ve downloaded the app. You just open the app, it knows where you are and he tells you things to see, history and other fun facts and stories. There are even different stories for your return drive! We stopped many places that we would not have seen if not for this app. I wish there was a GyPSy app for everywhere!!!!

As others have said, this is a MUST have app while in the Canadian Rockies. It would have been a different trip without it. Not sure where to suggest to the developer, but if you could put an image with good weather. We just had a rainy drive in the 1st week of July. We heard to see “that mountain and at times could not see anything due to the weather. It would be a 10 star app to see some of them for the unlucky travelers like us. Again, fantastic job with your app. Amazing history, must do hikes/stops, and just enough talk to not take away from the trip. Great job!!!
