  • Is almost there but it falls just short

    By AdolphX (Pcmac user)

There are some things that you need to fix, First the button for drawing sometimes does not work, The image you see is all blurry i dont know if that is my pc or the app haha, It would be nice if it had shorcuts for like undo, paste, copy, etc. It needs an clicl on, clic off button, clicling the button everytime i want to draw a line is going to drive someone nuts, you need to study a little more a graphics tablet to emulate that on the ipad, i want to buy this app, but fix those problems first ok? Ok

This is probably the worst example I've ever seen of a "demo". It honestly makes me want to avoid every piece of work that this publisher has produced, rather than make me want to pay them for an app which I have no taste of after downloading the lite version. All it's managed to do is show a poor example of what could be a very useful product.
  • Needs ip selection - server selection doesn't always work

    By monodalia (Pcmac user)

There are several troubleshooting points but I could not get the software to work. I know it's my wifi network. But I have gotten around this issue with other remote-mouse apps because they allow me to enter the IP of the host machine.
  • Works okay, full version better

    By GoodOldMonkey (Pcmac user)

On my hardware* this works well: screen mirroring is more than fast enough, and zooming — necessary for selecting tools, for example — is smooth. It doesn’t seem to support pressure sensitivity, so it won’t replace my Wacom Intuos tablet, but even with a cheap stylus it’s a big step up from editing photos with the trackpad. At maximum zoom the image is on the fuzzy side, because you cannot zoom in far enough to see individual pixels. This free version of the app will only run for 5 minutes at a time, and won’t let you predefine regions on your Mac screen (like the toolbar) for quick changes of focus. * I am using a 2018 iPhone SE 32GB with an early 2014 MacBook Air 13” 4GB RAM, iOS 12.4 and Mac OS 10.12. On this hardware, the richer-featured (edit individual pixels, works with pressure sensitive stylus) Astropad Mini app Is slow to mirror the Mac screen and usually leaves a lot of black space. Other users get opposite results, finding Astropad much faster.
