What is Sharks & Rays?
The shark and ray identification app is a fully interactive and easy-to-use application that helps users visually identify more than 50 species of sharks and rays. The app is available in Portuguese, English, and Spanish and includes a search feature, keys for visual identification, a list of scientific names and common names, and 43 complete cards with illustrations and photos. The app also includes a dictionary of common names, two games for entertainment and exercise, and general information about sharks and rays.
1. Each card contains: scientific name, common names (in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French) and detailed information about its colour, caracteristics, measures, range, habitat, habits and behaviors, ways to catch and flesh quality, the status of threat of extinction, potential attack and statistics, other common names in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French and Italian, as well important observations.
2. Fully interactive and very easy to use, this application was produced in Portuguese, English and Spanish so that you can visually identify more than 50 species of sharks and rays.
